Tony Valle has a passion for service in the community and has launched a number of different organizations, seeking to find solutions to challenging problems by leveraging the unique gifts, talents and abilities of each Team member focused on achieving a similar goal. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Cal State University San Marcos, Tony enjoyed a successful career in Pharmaceutical Sales, earning numerous sales awards and recognition for his performance. In Pasadena, CA, Tony launched the San Gabriel Valley Pharmaceutical Networking Association, as a response to the challenge of medical access being denied to his fellow sales colleagues. By launching and leading this Association, Tony experienced first-hand the power of seeking creative solutions to seemingly insurmountable challenges. While leading the Association, Tony launched a fund raiser for the New York Fire and Police Widow’s and Childrens Benefit Fund, in the aftermath of 9/11. Moreover, during this time he also met a doctor, Kevin Lake, providing medical care to a community of people living at the dump in Tijuana, B.C. Tony made one trip with Dr. Lake to Tijuana and came back with the vision of recruiting a Team of doctors to provide care for this desperate community. Tony successfully recruited a Team of doctors, launching a non-profit organization called Healing Hearts Across Borders, led by Dr. Rodarte, and his Team of volunteers. This organization has been providing continuous care for this community for almost 20 years. Tony has launched a Neighborhood Watch for his community and has served as a board member for BLEND (Business for Law Enforcement, Northeast Division), raising money to fund the cadet program. In 2016, while still working on achieving his goals for state certification, Tony launched the Resource Center for Certified Interpreters on Facebook, with a focus on encouraging colleagues to achieve certification goals. That same year, Tony organized and led a Team Based Approach to achieving certification goals. In September of 2017, Tony passed his State of California certification exams along with 3 of his team members. While working on Teams he has led, a total of 10 colleagues have achieved their certification goals thus far. In 2018, Tony achieved CCHI Certification, and began serving the courts in San Bernardino as an Intermittent Interpreter. In 2019, Tony achieved the highest scores on the Defense Language Proficiency Test, and in 2020, Tony will be taking the first part of the Federal Exam certification, along with a Team of seven who will be taking their exams at the same time. Tony remains goal focused, solutions oriented, and is motivated by a desire to serve others in his home, family and community.
