Henry was born and raised for the first sixteen years of his life in Vietnam. He came to the U.S. with his mother and sister to reunify with the rest of his extended family in 2008. Henry is expected to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) from Tulane University School of Medicine in May 2021. Henry is a national CoreCHI certified medical interpreter. Over the last 4 years, he has volunteered to work both as a medical student and as a healthcare interpreter to serve the most vulnerable patient populations in New Orleans, including the homeless, lower socioeconomic status, and Vietnamese immigrants.
